Who the heck am I to have these massive life goals you ask?? Great question!  

Right now I play the role of full time college student, babysitter, ministry leader, follower of Jesus, and 25/7 friendship seeker. During the in between moments I have begun the joyful journey of sharing my life with others through the art of writing, which brings me to this moment.

I have no hopes in life bigger than the goal of living my life real. For me, living life real means escaping all the boxes of expectation, crossing the lines of doubt and fear, and defying the realistic. Real life is also spilling all the coffee, running late, and counting my homework as cardio. And after 20 years of breathing I want nothing less than to live this way alongside all the people.

I learn to live fierce by placing fierce women strategically in my life, wearing dark lipstick, and drinking black coffee.

I have grit after taking a year off school, changing my career path more than once, and learning to live for what is happening in front of, around, and to me, rather than living for tomorrow. I learn more that way. I appreciate life more that way.

I love like Jesus by doing my best to love the people around me, showing kindness to strangers, and learning from Godly mentors.

I choose joy because I’ve found that in the darkest times there’s really nothing else to do. This joy comes through talks and movie nights with dear friends, a good book, worship sessions, and expensive coffee that is always worth every dollar.

I make ripples by encouraging the people around me, pushing them to pursue their dreams, and now through writing about an authentic way of living in hopes of emboldening you to do the same.

I sincerely hope you stick around for a while! Let’s exist together, cry together, laugh way to hard together, and walk through life together. I’m learning there’s no other way to live and want to invite you on this journey of highs and lows, hell yeah’s and hell no’s, all with a coffee in hand.
